My Senegal parrot …
My Senegal parrot is just over 1 year old and learned all this because I have been training her just about every day since I got her. I suggest you start by clicker conditioning your bird and target training. You can find videos of us training this to our budgie. The Senegal Parrot is smarter and will probably catch on quickly.

I have a male Senegal, and the only behaviors that he and Kili have in common is getting head skritches and eating treats. Marvelous!!!

I have the same …
I have the same parrot, and she kinda seems ADD, but she’s a blast. I often have her on my shoulder while on the computer and now she mimicks the sound of my mouse wheel among other things.

Great birds. Yours is awesome.
